What discoveries and inventions were made in China
In schools, in foreign history lessons, we usually study the history of Europe and the United States. However, today we will talk about the discoveries of the Chinese, who were ahead of the Europeans by several centuries.
What did the Chinese invent?
1. Compass (4th century BC): The Chinese created the first compasses, which were used to determine direction and navigate. This tool has become one of the key factors in the development of geography and navigation.
2. Paper (2nd century BC): The Chinese invented the first prototype of paper using wood fiber. This invention was of great importance for the development of education, communication and recording of information.
3. Book (1st century BC): The creation of books originated from the use of wooden or bone tablets with which information could be written and stored.
Are these all Chinese inventions?
