What is CHINECT?
CHINECT is an online Chinese school. Experienced teachers help you learn Chinese characters and Asian culture so you can speak Mandarin Chinese in two months.

Is Chinese hard to learn?
Yes, it is. Not every native speaker is 100% proficient in Chinese. That's why individuals who speak Chinese as a second language are in high demand. Mastering Chinese is realistic. It usually takes 2–4 months to reach the beginner's level (HSK 1). The level shows the ability to make simple sentences and use about 150 words.

Who can become a student?
We offer courses for kids, teens, and adults. Teachers note in their profiles which student age groups they work with.

Do I pick a teacher myself?
Yes, you do. Visit the Teachers page to see all our tutors. Filtering by student age, education, and interests will help you choose the right teacher.

Can I change my teacher?
Yes you can. Write to the school administrator to select a new teacher. Changing teachers on your own is not allowed.

How do you hold lessons?
Teachers hold video conferences on our website. No need to install any apps. Sign up on the website and send a lesson request. The teacher will personalize the lesson to reflect your interests and needs.

Do you have a trial lesson?
We give new students a full 25-minute lesson with a teacher for 400 rubles. We do not store credit card information and do not impose any services during the trial lesson.

How long do lessons take?
Teachers conduct 25- and 50-minute lessons. The trial lesson is 25 minutes.

Are 25-minute lessons effective?
You will see the benefits of 25-minute lessons if you study regularly. We understand that every student has a different pace. If 25 minutes is too short, choose 50-minute lessons or combine them with 25-minute lessons.

What's the price of language lessons?

Do you have promotional prices or discounts?

I am a new student. How do I get started?
Learn Mandarin from a computer or a laptop. Check your Internet connection and allow access to the microphone and webcam before you join the lesson. The teacher will provide texts, workbooks, and tasks. Complete your profile to make it easier for the teacher to plan lessons.

When can I attend my first lesson?
Your first lesson will be no earlier than the day after registration. Schedule lessons in your personal account 24 hours in advance.

How do I buy lessons?
Visit the Prices page and choose the desired number of lessons or a lesson pack. Pay with a bank card. We do not store your payment information. You will receive 25- or 50-minute lessons on your balance. Use the lessons to send requests to teachers.

How do I book lessons?
Choose your teacher on the Teachers page. Open the teacher's profile by clicking on «Details». Click «Schedule a lesson» to view the teacher's calendar. Select the date and time to send a request. The teacher will reply in 16 hours. If you decide to change your choice, cancel the request in your personal account and schedule a lesson with another teacher. You will receive a notification when the teacher replies to your request.

How do I reschedule or cancel a lesson?
Free lesson cancellation is available in the personal account up to 6+ hours before its start. In the 'Lessons' section, select the lesson and click 'Cancel'. After that, you can schedule a new lesson. If you didn't cancel the lesson within 6+ hours or didn't attend it for some reason, the lesson is considered completed and the payment is not refunded.

What do I get at the end of the course?
Teachers provide educational materials and explain each topic. The school automates the learning process. Stay motivated to get knowledge and for a good mood. What matters is the actual result. That's why CHINECT doesn't issue course certificates.
